Today was a good day!

Today was a good day! Not a spectacular day or incredible day - it was good. And that is great because it has been a while since I have had a day like that. A lot of them have been busy or tired - even stressed at times - but not today, today was good.

I got a day off after about 2 weeks of working straight. I have been fighting a cold that I still have, but I don't care, I don't want to be sick so I'm not going to be. But none of that mattered today - today I got to hang out with my family, my favorite thing to do. We bought plants and got pizza and went to the park and hung out! I am still a bit tired, but it is the best kind of tired.

The Bug is sick

Well The Bug got a pretty nasty flu today. We've all been trying to figure out ways to take care of him and not get sick ourselves. So we are just pounding the herbs and taking it easy.

But while considering being a stay at home dad I actually got an email about some work with nuun. They are a great local company - and I think the last serious player in the powdered beverage market here in town. So this should be good and may be able to turn into something more as they are actually doing well even with the "slow down". So we'll see.
